Recruiting is starting to ramp up with prospects visiting for Gamedays. While it will get even crazier when some of the more high profile games start happening, Georgia has already had a couple of big weekends. The Dawgs have also put out a lot of offers.

    - The biggest offer to go out from Kirby Smart and company was to Georgia Tech safety commit and Warner Robins native, Rasean Dinkins. This offer went out the day before safety Rashad Johnson flipped from UGA to Texas A&M. The flip definitely wasn't a susprise to the staff and while we wanted Johnson in the class, I'm told we could have tried more than what we did to keep him.

Dinkins is the biggest flip candidate right now. I'm told the offer from Georgia is one that he has been waiting on. I don't think he flips immediately, but waits until he can make his way to Athens for an OV. This should be in early October for either the Auburn game weekend or Mississippi State game weekend. He'll have five star Dawg commit and teammate Isaiah Gibson in his ear until then. You can consider this my officlal prediction for DInkins to flip to Georgia.

    - Another prospect Georgia has made a big move for is 4* RB Ousmane Kromah. For whatever reason, Dell McGee just wasn't as high on Kromah as others. New running backs coach Josh Crawford is very high on Kromah and has been pushing hard for him to be in this class. Crawford actually coached at Lee County High School when Kromah's older brother was on the team, so there's a history there.

Kromah was supposed to be in The Benz for the Georgia vs Clemson matchup, but decided it would be more beneficial to visit for a true home game where he could meet with the coaches. He visited Auburn for week one instead. But it didn;t take long for him to make his way to Athens, as he was at the Tennessee Tech game Saturday.

I'm told Georgia made a huge move and is now the clear leader here, with likely less than a month to go until he commits. This one isn't over by a longshot, but looks like it is coming down to a battle between Georgia and Auburn. FSU was in this, but they look like the favorite to get Byron Louis in nine days.

    - Many Georgia fans loved seeing the news of JUCO defensive lineman Seven Cloud popping back up on the radar. He was originally in the 2023 class and was committed to UGA since 2021 until he literally just disappeared from football. I honestly don;t know all of the details on what happened to make him skip his senior season and basically leave football altogether (and wouldn't share his personal business if I did know), but I do know he has gone through a very tough time.

What most everyone didn't know was that Georgia defensive line coach Tray Scott has kept up the with talented defensive lineman. Cloud started back at Butler Community College, but missed the 2023 season. He just started his first actual season back a couple of weeks ago and already looks like a beast. I'm told that we are VERY serious about bringing him in with the 2025 class and that he has a spot as long as he takes care of everything he has to take care of while he's at Butler CC.

    - The No. 2 ranked edge prospect in the 2025 class recently decommitted from Florida State and has been in contact with multiple powerhouse programs. One of those programs is Georgia. He is another prospect who will make his way to Athens soon. Expect him to also visit Alabama and Texas among others.

    - This isn't necessarily new news, but Georgia commit Bo Walker had a late start to the season after his transfer to Stockbridge was denied. He is now at Rabun Gap and has already played his first game there.

    - A receiver to keep an eye on is an under the radar in-state receiver from Morgan County, Jaylen Elder. Georgia has started to heavily recruit the playmaker and had him on campus this past weekend. He quickly caught UGA's attention by starting the season off catching 20 passes for 430 yards and five touchdowns in his first three games. While the Dawgs haven't offered yet, his 4.48-second 40-yard dash and also has a 39-inch vertical leap sets him up to receive one soon enough.

    - The last prospect to keep an eye on is a 2025 in-state prospect who is committed to Tennessee. Georgia was after 4* LB Christian Gass, but the Vols were the team to make him a top priority before he committed. At the time UGA had 5* Zayden Walker and 4* Jadon Perlotte already committed, while Perlotte has since flipped his commitment to Southern Cal. Georgia is in touch with the talented Gass and has him on campus for the Tennessee Tech game. Nothing is imminent as far as a flip, but his plans to visit Georgia a couple of more times definitely means something. This is one to keep a close eye on down the road.

I'm gonna be honest and say I don't get the Kromah love....I'm sure he's a solid back. I"m also sure I don't have the eye for talent that the coaches do...but I just don't see it...
